Blue Mountains, Jamaica

Rooted in Jamaica. Connected to the world.

Built on more than three decades of family farming in Jamaica's Blue Mountains, Nomlas connects coffee growers with international buyers through green coffee exports and a growing focus on roasting, brands and distribution.

Our roots run deep

Our roots run deep.

The Nomlas story began in 1990, when the Salmon family started farming coffee on the slopes of the Blue Mountains. Founder Donald Salmon has spent more than 35 years in coffee, first growing and selling cherries, then learning every stage that follows.

In 2013 that experience opened a new chapter: exporting green coffee to international buyers. Today the family combines coffee from its own farms with coffee sourced through relationships with other Jamaican farmers.

Origin you can trace

Coffee with a connection to its source.

Buyers increasingly want to know where their coffee comes from and who grew it. We are a family business on the ground in Jamaica, so we can speak directly about the farms, the farmers and the preparation behind each shipment.

That knowledge, held close to origin, is what lets us discuss lots honestly and build trust over many seasons.
